In this project, I was approached by PH5, a talented duo behind a sustainable fashion brand, who sought a solution to a unique challenge. Although they wanted to keep their brand personal and authentic, they didn’t want to be the public face of the brand. They needed a way to engage their audience more frequently without relying on personal photos, while still maintaining a genuine and innovative presence.
I proposed creating a new “virtual team member” who could represent their brand in a personal and human manner, without the complexities and responsibilities of featuring real individuals.
Over the course of six months, I developed Ama, a virtual persona that embodies the essence of PH5’s brand through a carefully crafted visual design and a distinctive personality and tone.
Ama was officially launched in 2021 as part of PH5’s lookbook and featured prominently on their Instagram account. The project received notable attention, with Ama being highlighted in prestigious publications such as Vogue, Business of Fashion, Fashionista, and more.
